• HS Wind/Brass Sectionals: 2 in June, 2 in July 7-8pm (Dates TBD soon)

• HS Drumline 90 minute Sub-Sectionals starting mid-June (Dates/Times TBD after May 18th Meeting)

• HS Colorguard Rehearsals starting mid-June (Dates/Times TBD soon) 

 

Basics camp: July 20th- 24th

• July 20th-21st: VCHS Band Leadership Team @ 8am-11am

• July 22nd: Freshman/ Leadership @ 8am-11am

• July 23rd-24th: Full Band @ 8am-11am

• July 20th/ 22nd: Woodwind Sectionals @ 11am-12pm

• July 21st/23rd: Brass Sectionals @ 11am-12pm

• July 20th-24th: Drumline Camp @ 12pm-3pm

• July 24th: Full Wind/Brass Sectional @11am-12pm

Band camp: July 27th- 31st @ 7am-3pm

August 4th & 6th: HS Marching Band Evening Rehearsals 6:30-8:30pm

 

These few days afford us an opportunity to accomplish what would take approximately twenty-two days, or over five weeks, on our regular rehearsal schedule. Therefore, it is imperative that no time be wasted and that students come to the camp prepared.  Attendance is mandatory. Grades will be given for Camp. The band camp dates has been discussed with the students in March before Spring Break.​​​

Any conflicts with Camp times will need to be communicated by Parent Email to all 3 Directors Friday, May 8th if not sooner. This will help with planning for camp and decisions regarding drill spots.
