VCMS JAZZ ENSEMBLE
2024-2025 VCMS JAZZ ENSEMBLE:
-
Rehearses Tuesday & Thursday mornings from 7am-7:30am. This open to 7th& 8thgrade band members. Attendance will mandatory to ensure a better opportunity of success for the ensemble. Sign up will be in December with rehearsals staring in January
-
Anyone playing in the rhythm section (piano, bass, guitar, drum set) must have taken lessons and have some background. In case of large numbers in some sections auditions maybe necessary.

All Jazz Students will need to purchase the Jazz Method Book “Standards of Excellence. Ask the band staff for what part to buy.
